 FM and GM mode battery could suit for continuous float charge working conditions and cycle charge/discharge.
The float voltage of GM and FM model battery is 2.35 V/cell and 2.4V/cell respectively at 25℃ .It will reduce the capacity and lifetime when the temperature is too high or too low.
Supplementary or equalizing charge in the following case.
Recharge in a shot time when emergency occurred.
Equalizing charge needed when float voltage of some cells less than 2.2V/cell .
Supplementary or equalizing charge methods as follows charge for 10h with 2.4V/cell at 21-32℃ ; charge for 20h at 10-20℃.
Recharge with limited current constant voltage , first charge with 0.1C10A or 0.125 C10A,then charge with constant voltage when rech to 2.4V/cell.
Methods of learning supplementary or equalizing charge degree;
For constant load ,if the current reduced quickly and go to stable state and remained for 3h ,it represented 90-98% charge of state .
For variable load , if the indicated cell voltage remained stable for 6h it represented 100% charge of state.
Record operation data,time weekly, including cell voltage terminal voltage, ambient temperature.
Check out terminal solid or not , make loose connections tight , Don’t take apart or reassemble battery system individually.
Find out reasons for the following troubles and replace broken-down battery in time:
Voltage abnormity
Physical breakage(case,cover crack or distortion)
Electrolyte leak
